Brittany had an orthopedic appointment today. She can now wave like a princess! The cast on her right arm and hand was removed. The incision has healed up nice, also. She has permission to begin using crutches and/or a walker (instead of the wheelchair) when she gets to Seattle. She will probably (not definitely) leave tomorrow. She is resigned, but not happy about having to leave home.
Erika continues to do well. Her tutor came today and left homework for tomorrow. Granddaddy has been diligent in helping Erika with her physical therapy "homework". All this homework really wears Erika out!
I know I've used this verse before, but it is appropriate for today also. On my way through town I saw a bald eagle circling high about the business district. This verse came to mind. Thank you, God, for the reminder.
New International Version (©1984)
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
