Monday 11:30pm

Praise God!  Don arrived at Providence Hospital around 6:30 this evening.  Has been able to see the girls.

Both Erika and Brittany have a broken pelvis.  It is not looking like surgery will be needed for either girls' pelvis at this point.

The doctors have told us that the next couple of days will be the toughest for both girls.  There will be significant swelling over the entire body.  This is a natural occurance as the body begins to heal itself and the amount of fluid they are being given.

An additional way to reach the Bennett's at the hospital  is by going to http://www.providence.org/ website, look on the right hand side of the screen and select Alaska then Anchorage. Then look on the left hand side almost to the bottom and click on "email a patient" link.  The message will be printed and delivered.

The family would like to thank you all for your well wishes, food, support, and prayers throughout this difficult time.  Our posts will be less frequent as we wait for God to heal Brittany and Erika. We don't expect the healing process to be a quick one.  So please be patient as we are trying to be patient.  We would like to leave you with the words that are comforting us now.
31Yet those who wait for the LORD
         Will gain new strength;
         They will mount up with wings like eagles,
         They will run and not get tired,
         They will walk and not become weary.
                                              Isaiah 40:31

Good night.
